In 1996, Argentibio was born from the dream of two twin brothers, originally from Buenos Aires, who became passionate about organic production. Fascinated by this emerging movement, they began to research and understand the complexity and socio-environmental impact of organic production. At that time, the concept of "organic" was practically unknown, and few understood the differences in production and the health benefits for the consumer.
Determined to carry out their vision, the brothers moved to Mendoza, where they acquired a farm called Finca El Olmo, named for a historic elm tree that was the heart of the property. Located at the foot of the Andes Mountains, in the town of El Cepillo, in the Uco Valley, Argentibio was born with its star product: organic garlic.
The company grew rapidly, diversifying its offering with a wide range of organic vegetables and fruits, all destined for the export market. Over time, Argentibio consolidated itself as the number one company in Argentina in the production and export of organic products, bringing "organic products for the world" to the main consumer markets in Europe and America.
The two brothers' dream of growing an SME with a firm purpose of offering high-quality organic products came true. Over time, they began to invest in the domestic market, promoting the growth of the organic movement in Argentina.
Today, Argentibio is present in several supermarkets, promoting change in consumption and providing security and future for the organic consumer in Argentina.

In Buenos Aires, twin brothers Gabriel and Gustavo Miralles were born on February 25, 1965. From a young age, they shared a passion that would transform the world of agriculture. Fascinated by the emerging organic production movement, they began to research and understand the complexity and socio-environmental impact that this form of farming could have.
Gabriel, a lawyer from the University of Buenos Aires, and Gustavo, a certified public accountant from the same university with an MBA from the Universidad Católica Argentina, became true pioneers in a field that was virtually unknown at the time.
While few people understood the differences in organic production and its health benefits for consumers, they were already convinced of its revolutionary potential. Determined to bring their vision to life, the Miralles brothers moved to Mendoza, a region known for its fertile soil and ideal climate. They acquired a historic farm called Finca El Olmo, located in the picturesque village of El Cepillo in the Uco Valley, at the foothills of the majestic Andes Mountains. The farm's name comes from a historic elm tree that stands at the heart of the property, symbolizing strength and resilience.
In this privileged setting, Argentibio was born, with its flagship product: organic garlic. Under the leadership of Gabriel and Gustavo, the farm was transformed into a model of sustainable organic production, exclusively dedicated to growing organic vegetables and fruits. On-site, they handle the processing, packaging, and consolidation of most of their products, ensuring freshness and quality from the field to the final destination.
Gustavo, in addition to his role at Argentibio, stood out as a leader in the organic sector. He served as president of the Argentine Chamber of Organic Producers for eight years (2002-2004 and 2008-2011) and as vice president of the Argentine Movement for Organic Production (MAPO) for two years (2011-2012).
His leadership and dedication were crucial for the growth and recognition of the organic movement in Argentina. Today, in addition to being co-founders, Gustavo serves as the commercial manager, while Gabriel takes on the role of production manager.
